our mission

Spear Recovery is a men’s sober living focused on rebuilding our guest's lives and supporting them in the early stages of their recovery. From personal experience there is much more to a life in recovery than just the abstinence from Drugs and Alcohol. The opposite of addiction is connection. We aim to provide a safe, supportive, and fun environment for men of all ages. No matter how deep and strong the grasp of addiction has taken us, the combination of some willingness and a supportive community with a common goal can produce incredible results.

our hope

Our Hope is that our clients will leave Spear Recovery with a new perspective and zest for life. As fellow alcoholics and addicts we understand the inner turmoil one can go through, especially in early recovery. We will work with guests not just on sobriety but life goals as well. There will be individualized one-on-one work to plan for education and employment. We hope that with the tools, life skills, and friends provided that our guests will build up the esteem and integrity to build a meaningful and successful life.

structure

Spear Recovery is a men’s sober living focused on rebuilding our guests lives and supporting them in the early stages of their recovery. Our first and utmost priority is the safety of our guests. The house is staffed 24 hours a day with a live- in manager on site. All guests are breathalyzed daily and drug tested randomly 3-5 times a week. We will also be sending random drug tests to a Lab in West Los Angeles. To increase accountability we require check-ins and nightly curfews. All of our staff has an established amount of time in sobriety and experience in the field. Each person employed by Spear Recovery will also be drug tested to ensure a safe and honest program. Staff will be working closely and having one-one-one interactions with our clients to provide emotional support and encourage healthy habits and relationships. We also work closely with family members providing weekly updates and check-ins. We have seen through this process that the mending of relationships with our loved ones and family members can be one of the greatest gifts.
